If DBZ wouldn't have succeeded, then Akira Toriyama wouldn't have been such an influence on Kubotite, and then the letter Toriyama sent to Kubotite telling him not to surrender, which was practically what got Bleach going, wouldn't have existed either.
You say Yu Yu Hakusho, but as far as I know, there's no proof Kubotite made Bleach inspired by Yoshihiro Togashi's works. Hell, maybe he did, but the point here is that Toriyama practically got Bleach in motion. Without DBZ, that wouldn't have happened.
