24 year old female with in complaining of generalized left sided body pain, photosensetivity, fever, chest pain, shortness of breath, HA as well as stating that "it's coming" repeatedly to hospital staff. Patient seen in the ED. Labs and imaging pending, AVSS, despite panicked appearance. On interview, she states her mood as "worried" and is nervous about her symptoms. During interview it's noted that she has increasingly tangential thoughts and begins to display inappropriate laughter. The patient then begins to disrobe after being asked about employment, who then demonstrates sanguinous lacrimation. She starts speaking what are assumed to be neologisms (patient was of unknown ethnicity, and attending and other hospital staff are unsure of language), which coincided with tachycardia (HR 90 ==> 300), hypertension (110/60 ==> 210/140), diaphoresis, and chorea. Patient became violent, and 10 mg Haldol was administered with no improvement. Patient became unresponsive at 200 hours, entered cardiac arrest 240. Resuscitative efforts were initiated to no avail.
