"When social communities grow past a certain point (Dunbar’s Number?), they start to suck."(xkcd)

Dunbar's number, which is very approximately 150, represents a theorized cognitive limit to the number of individuals with whom any one person can maintain stable social relationships, the kind of relationships that go with knowing who each person is and how each person relates socially to every other person.(wikipedia)

This is a great day for us all now that moot has given birth to a new board, /jp/. And with the new /jp/ board the noise of /a/ has dropped substantially. I would guess around half of /a/'s posters have gone to /jp/ perhaps bringing /a/ closer to 150 unique users.
