So, I have this concept:
Glasses girl, a bit shy, second year in college. Doesn't speaks much. One day, she gathers enough courage to speak in class (A proposal, or against the teacher, I'm not sure) She does so with heay heart beating, so strong she almost can't hear her own thoughts. She pulls through, and finishes her dissertation.
Loking around she sees nothing but the glassy eyed, lost wandering looks from her classmates. Nobody seems to care, even though it meant so much for her. Well, at least she did it. Sighing, she sits back.
Leaving the classroom with her books against her chest, someone comes near her. She says it was a brave thing, and she liked what she said. "It was nothing" she says with a comforting smile.
As she goes to sleep, she looks at her cellphone, a fresh new contact in it. A new friend.
I'm not sure if that's what you wanted, so I'm asking for the go ahead with this idea, or what tweaking it needs.
