At first, I hated it. I deleted the first episode out of rage (I eventually went back and watched it again, and it really is shit, I totally get how the lucky star hate meme could've started), but a couple days later I watched some more out of boredom, mainly because animu dancing is crack and the lucky channel segments were pretty good.
Anyway, I didn't mind it, although looking back yeah I was just moebaited. I only laughed once or twice, but it was colourful and inoffensive.
Then, holy shit, I actually cried watching one of the later episodes. And the last episode had MORE DANCING, so it ended on a high note for me.
Later, after watching the first episode and rewatching the last one, I caught onto the subtle thing kagami has for konata. Even if it's not blatantly canon, it's such a cute pairing that it really boosted my fondness for the characters and by extension the show.
So no, it wasn't amazing, but it wasn't that bad either. The character-driven stuff is lovely even if it was mostly squandered by the format. So I'm going to stay up reposting in kagamin threads FOREVER.
