Kneeling around the table, Lelouch, Kaguya, and Satomi eagerly dug into the teriyaki salmon and beef, accompanied by sticky white rice. There was also plenty of sushi on tap, though Kaguya and Satomi were more eager for it than Lelouch; he'd never developed much taste for the stuff.
He noticed his son was not touching his food. "Anthony?" he asked. "What's wrong?"
The young boy stuck out his arm, clutching the black wooden sticks in his fist. "I can't use chopsticks," he said solemnly.
Kaguya thought the boy's straightforward manner was adorable. "Awww, it's all right, Anthony-sama. It's really easy!"
"Here, Anthony!" Satomi chirped, reaching across the table. "Let me show you!"
Anthony jerked away, pulling back the chopsticks out of her reach. "I can LEARN," he grumbled flatly.
Satomi recoiled from the rejection. She glared at her half-brother venomously. "FINE, then!" she snapped. "Go ahead! LEARN!!" For good measure, she stuck out her tongue and made a raspberry at him. Kaguya pinched her daughter at the hip for such unladylike behavior.
