I like iTunes.
Foobar's nice too, but I really don't see the point in using it when iTunes is slightly easier to use.
iTunes runs at about 34MB of ram most of time time, and foobar closer to 3.4, but that doesn't particularly bother me - I only ever need a good chunk of my ram when editing images, in which case I'll shut everything else down. The extra services and crap iTunes starts up? I disable them, and re-enable one of them when putting music onto my iPod. The GUI? Looks fine to me, and it took me about two minutes to set up as opposed to the half an hour or so I spent experimenting with foobar. Messed up tagging? I've never really had a problem with that, and since I pirate about 95% of my music everything comes with tags that work with foobar anyway.
So what's the big deal? Why should I use foobar instead? Are you really that anal and elitist about those petty differences?
