noitaminA (ノイタミナ, noitaminA?) – "Animation" written backwards – is a Fuji Television programming block devoted to anime, with the intention of expanding the target audience beyond the typical young male demographic. Many of the early featured programs were adaptations to shōjo or josei manga, but recently the scope has widened, adapting seinen or shōnen manga such as Hataraki Man, Moyashimon, and Hakaba Kitarō (a darker, more direct adaptation of the manga better though it's previous animated series as GeGeGe no Kitarō) and the light novel series Toshokan Sensō.
