Fine then, different challenge.
Name a game for each of the four current consoles worth buying. Please honour the following rules for the sake of argument:
* I'll give you even a flying chance in hell: any game released in the lifetime of the PS3 and 360 thus far.
** Arcade and similar minigame content is off-limits for the purpose of this exercise.
* Arcade, Home, and Virtual Console re-releases are off-limits-- Ikaruga is an amazing game, but it came out years ago on NAOMI and Dreamcast first. And Gamecube again.
* The same game may not be named more than once.
** I won't specifically restrict things that have seen a multi-platform release, but that, in and of itself, could be considered proof in some measure that the state of gaming is indescribably bad.
** No sports games. A roster update isn't worth the money. Neither is more realistic man-ass sweat.
* Bonus points if you choose something other than Smash Brothers for the Wii. In the broad sense, "Worth Buying" should conflate the idea of providing significant impetus for buying the console as well, assuming it's not owned already. Prior to this generation, it would have been "Games worth buying the console for," but given the steep price of the Sony and MS offerings, this is no longer fair.
