“I couldn’t,” I muttered, turning my head away from the older man, a light blush was visible on my cheeks, but it was so dark, I doubt he could see it. “Will you stay here until I fall asleep?” I asked anxiously, that way, I could have him all to myself for tonight, if even just one night. I crawled out from under the sheets, to lean towards Aniki, my hands resting on his leg, “please…?” I begged. Begging was good.
“Fine,” he said, flashing me another one of those grins, the one that always made me feel like I was floating.
I removed my legs and crawled back over to the pillow, slipping under the covers. Aniki moved next to me, slipping under the covers as well. I rolled over to face his side, resting my hands against his chest. He soon turned, and rolled towards me, facing me, just like I know he would. “Get some sleep,” he said once again as he kissed the top of my head, and wrapped his arms around me, falling asleep not seconds later.
Why couldn’t every night be like this? I loved Kamina. He was my hero, my protector. I could never have enough of him, and I always felt safe by his side.
“Goodnight,” I whispered as I reached my lips up to give him a small kiss, before closing my eyes and falling asleep, being satisfied with how the night had ended. Only hoping every night could be exactly like this one.
Please don’t turn your back to me Aniki, I loved you first, don’t you love me back?
