>>12955232>Although it's a prequel to the first film, character backgrounds are still not explained. Character relationships are presented but not explained. Multiple events happen while information is withheld from viewers, making the events confusing, pointless, and distracting, While it's nice that the dialogue isn't as pretentious as the first film, much of it still makes little sense or isn't nearly as profound as it wants viewers to think it is.
It's the first chapter in the book, not only that, many of the characters arent even introduced this early in the game. The reason for this chapter is to see how Shiki and Kokutou met, there are a few other details, but that's this chapter's highlight. >And Shiki's "important" monologues literally contradict themselves.
Because she's 2 different people, SHIKI and Shiki have different personalities. It's hard to tell sometimes who's talking since it's on screen instead of in print (and there is no english equal of boku), but it's not like it goes unexplained why shiki says and does what she says and does.>Kokutou's actions may adhere to his characterization, but they defy common sense and reason.
This happens in all Type moon works, I agree, Kokuto's retarded.
