>>12951091>>Its a fricken foreign product they hand selected from a process of elimination as being popular from fans who like JAPANESE THINGS. Then their brilliant idea is...to change it and market it in ways that will make it different.
I didn't know Anon knew the inner workings and decision making practices of ADV. As far as animenewsnetwork and other reputable sources reported, ADV didn't give a crap about what people thought. Which is why most people hate them anywayz. Aren't I right, Anon?>>change scripts, push them out with weird unexplainable visual edits or just whatever they could think to make it 'appeal to American audiences
What are some examples of this Anon?
Honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of ADV by any means, but I like having high quality version of my anime. I like owning a hard copy in DVD or blue ray format. But I really don't want to spend what I did when I was working and living in Japan. American companies putting the DVDs and Blue-Rays out gives me the chance at a good price. Plus, I can watch my shit in the beauty of wide screen with anamorphic discs.
People complain about translations. If you really like it, learn Moonspeak. And if your too lazy to do it, don't like anime enough, then have fun on 4chan, complaining about crappy speed subs.
I'll watch my beautiful DVD's with the subs off and enjoy my own translation.
