I have to disagree on that. The feeling and smell of paper is something I will miss dearly in the near future.
Still, digital beats analog with backlighting, not having to use both hands, and huge ass portability (hauling a whole library anywhere, fuck yeah)
Unfortunately, the ebook market is limited and stillborn, due to the greed and lack of familiarity of the editorials. Take the Kindle, it is flawed, but it's the best we have. DRM and limited download service make these pieces of hardware a unsustainable business.
What I can guess is more of a device not sold as an ebook reader, but rather another piece of portable electronics that can handle text easily.
An iPhone with a bigger screen running Android.
Still, nothing like sitting under a tree and leaf through a yellowed book.
