If we're already having a chess thread, there's a thing that's been bugging me about this whole scene (aside from LOLAGAINSTTHERULES).
Now, when Lulu challenged his brother to the chess game, it seemed that this was all just a diversion to get Suzaku out of there so he could work his geass on everybody. But as soon as the game started, he forgot all about his plan. Heck, he even got out of his Zero persona. The one who was playing was Lelouch, Schneizel's younger brother, not a strategist following his plan, but a pissed off kid with an older brother complex. It was totally immature of Lulu, even a bit surprising, he's usually always level-headed and cool, even when he shot his sister, the one which he claimed he had loved, but this time he just lost it by making it into a personal battle rather than focusing on his goal. Now, come to think of it, Schneizel is everything Lelouch could've been, a high-ranking, charismatic leader and the emperor's apparent favourite. Do I sense a bit of jealousy on Lulu's part?
