Your money has value simply because you are told it has value; it has no real rarity or value in of itself other than that which you are told it possesses. What gives your money power? Does it hold any true value, is it anything other than an icon representing the human desire to represent the value of their belongings?
How different would your world be if value was true? In a world where you are not told how much something is worth, you speak out and say for yourself how much you believe it is worth, and thusly things progress as such? One could claim that your world today functions as such, but the value of your own money decreasing is disproof of that. How can you say you determine the value of anything, when that which you use to measure it decreases in value itself?
Over time, does the value of a milligram, of a pound, of a mile, of a kilometer change? Then why so must the value of money, of that which controls so much of our lives? If this foundation of our economy is not even solid in itself, is anything?
Once my kingdom makes its stand, you will see how much different it is when the value of your dollar is more solid, where we do not flood you with more coins to create the illusion of owning a greater sum. Complex though this most intricate of properties may be, when properly executed it has the potential to fortify much of that which causes problems in the world of other races today. As it is said, money does, like it or not, "make the world go round".
