Let's talk art-style, /a/. I believe that what makes this discussion hard in this board are the following flawed misconseptions about the quality of aesthetic design:

-More detail is better. Lines and shadowing make everything a masterpiece, it doesn't matter if they are technically inaccurate.
-Realism is good, if you try something cartoony you're a hack.
-Realims is lazy, true art is surrealistic and trying to mimic reality is the cancer killing animation.
-Different is better, no distinction between the unique and the uncompelling.
-If you're not completely different, you're bad. Big eyes are wrong by default.
