Renderless modes in general are slower than the windowed ones. You don't actually need them for subtitles if you use CCCP because VSFilter is handling subtitles. Anyway, the fastest renderer is Overlay mixer, but you can't take snapshots with it. If your GPU is say, GeForce 6600 or better, you should be able to use Haali Video Renderer and should use it.
If you don't have/use CCCP, you should uninstall everything you have right now, reboot and install CCCP.
Anyway, the main problem you seem to have is audio/video desync, caused by insufficient hardware to decode what is most likely HD H.264 video. If you don't have CoreAVC, get it (hint: /rs/ is your friend). When you install CoreAVC, do NOT install Haali Media Splitter with it. After you have installed CoreAVC, go to CCCP settings and uncheck H.264 under FFDShow video decoders.
