The Batman coming out soon from Japan is going to have a very Japanese drawing style, 'Anime' style of 'flow' to the plot I'm sure and the action scenes are most probably, while still going to have many of the same things that make Batman the Mother Fucking BATMAN, going to have an exaggerated Anime feel to them. And I mean, look at the link Provided. They added some 'expert gunner' to Batman as if he came right out of Cowboy Bebop. And then they redid Crock so that he looks like he's some generic Mummy Villain from a Devil May Cry game and Scarecrow looks like a similar design for some stock RPG villain. And don't get me started on how every normal looking person looks 100% Anime and nothing like their Live Action or Animated Series counterparts.
This thing SCREAMS Japanese influence. If your only criteria is that this thing can't be Anime because the ORIGINAL concept wasn't Japanese, then fuck, 90% of Anime isn't Japanese.>>12401279
Not really. A great many people in Japan who even watch what we call Anime don't even refer to it as Anime. Just simply by the show names and consider both 'live action' and 'Anime' to be both regular TV programming. If you were to ask them 'Did you see that great Anime last night with X character', they might go 'What's an Anime'. To many of them, they've grown up as Animation so embedded as part of their culture that they don't HAVE to classify it as something.
