Okay, so I don't know about you, but I have never ever seen a haafu with natural blond hair.
I get the feeling that, genetically, it should be fairly uncommon for light hair and light eyes to be expressed. I was under the impression that the denser pigmentations are more closely associated with the dominant alleles.

And Eri seems more accurate than most, since at least her eyes are brown and her hair's got a little body to the pigment.

So, assuming it's extremely unlikely for you to find a half Japanese person with natural blond hair or blue eyes... why the heck are they always represented as such?

Force of habit born from ignorance? Or do they really just not know anything about halvies?
