Translation doesn't mean not to understand certain facets of Japanese culture. So you have to learn like a couple of new words, boo-fucking-hoo. Dammit, people, it's seriously not that fucking hard. And this asshat doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about since I got Sailor Moon fansubs with the -chan and -kun in them and they're pretty fucking old.
However, I don't think the text effects in the episodes is a rampant problem since there's a very few cases of them. The karaoke I can understand while I don't mind it and there should be an alternative, however I do appreciate to have the song at least subtitled in the episode so I know what the singer's saying.
