Yeah. He probably loses a bit of sympathy due to the fact that he didn't dig too deep to realize Chroniko is lacking personality and was just a poor dumb bastard out for sex, but at least his less than completely noble intentions led to actions that as far as the viewers know, are still noble. Mother thing seemed tacked on for extra pathos but we'll let it slide.
Though I wonder why he turned around when it wasn't advantageous to anyone in any way to do so, and he was totally dodging that green shit. Blaze of glory, I guess.
Kicker was the contents of that flashback from Strong Neiro's head. Maybe Warp might not want the rest of his memories back.
All in all I'd say this was the episode that I was waiting for with this series. Great use of the music this time too.
