I didn't like it much at first, but it really grows on you. It's a parody of post-apocalyptic anime stories and throws out a lot of references here and there to stuff like Hokuto no Ken, but at the same time the series does a lot of bashing on conventions. Essentially the anime shows a character who is usually comedy relief and put him in a situation where his skewed morals are actually crucial to survival.
In the end, yeah, it's totally worth it. If you absolutely can't stand fanservice and perverted characters, you probably won't like this, but if you're willing to look past a few cheap jokes it's a real hit.
