Doujin editing-friend here /a/.

It's common practice to clean up doujin/manga scans by shifting the opacity, so that places that are supposed to be white are white, etc.

I'm working on a project and it seems each page has a layer of black with an opacity of 2-5% on it. I'm wondering, should I clean it up or keep the opacity where it is.

Pic couldn't be more related.
