I can't understand people that believe a show may work with "bad animation". Do you even know what animation implies? It's basically the equivalent of "acting" for the live-action media. Awkward character animation will bring your storytelling down.

This is particularly true in old-school "super-detailed" shows, which only feel badly written or with clumsy pacing due to their animation restrains.

Picture half-related, it's an old-school show I would call with good acting thanks to the very cartoony expressions.
