It's sad how vidya has become ultimately superior to anime. Being around longer, you'd think anime would've evolved much more. Unfortunately, fact of the matter is anime is still stuck in Japan earning shit money while the world is embracing vidya. I'd even go as far as anime might die, considering its waning popularity among new generations and the rise of vidya. Sure, some skeptics say Japan has been suffering from "gamer drift" since years ago, but the newfound popularity of the PSP due to Monster Hunter and the non-stop releases of Japanese games even if they've become too expensive to make prove that the vidya industry is leaving anime leagues behind.
I enjoy both, but I wish animu grows bigger. That way, competition will be tight and companies will have to bring us consumers better stuff.
