That you didn't know what you were talking about?
OK lemme put it to you like this.
1) I wasn't trying to be coy. If it looked like that then I'm sorry but quite frankly I wouldn't trust the opinion of some weeaboo on the internet about how good Japanese voice acting is.
2) I also know some Japanese. I'm not fluent, nor have I lived their long enough to know shit outside of a few phrases and sentence structure and I'd pretty much phail in those regards as well. But I'm saying this purely from a logical standpoint that I don't think you can tell a good voice from a bad voice unless you're fluent enough in Japanese to understand various speaking patterns and accents the country has.
Fuck I think there are bad dubs out there. Oddly enough they're almost always for bad or mediocre shows. But what I'm asking here is if you're simply qualified enough to make said claim.
I wouldn't mock a person who doesn't write when he criticizes a novel. But when an English speaking person criticizes a novel written in German I'm naturally going to be skeptical unless he shows me he is capable enough to do so.
