Not sure what you're trying to imply, but the problem with Last Exile was that is started good, had a fairly original setting, good pace, etc.
Then they get to the Silvana, and it's 20 episodes of filler. Like what's his name the musket guy. You think he's going to play some part in it before the end, but it's "welcome to the nice boat. The writers aren't sure what to do with you, so now you're a mechanic."
That's how the whole thing felt. Like the writers wrote the beginning and the gonzoed ending, but made up everything else as they went along.
