Just trolls. The most common complaints thrown against One Piece are genre quirks from it being part of the fighting/adventure genre. The whole "never ending shounen" thing comes up frequently. Never could understand this complaint. Just because something goes over a 70 episodes/chapters, doesn't automatically make it bad. Legend of the Galactic heroes was over hundred episodes, and took several years to be released, and is a great show.
Thing is most of the stories /a/ brands as "never ending shonen" are going to be ending. Inu Yashu is most likely going to end soon, Kishi is rumored to be rushing to an ending, Most of the major elements in Bleach are starting to be tied up, (though rumors say Tite wants to do at least one more arc involving Hell,) and Oda has said in interveiws he has had an ending planned for One Piece since the very beginning.
Want an example on "never ending stories," look at Action Comics. (No /co/ I am not picking a fight. Even you guys can admit some of your best works have endings, like Bone, The Watchmen, Dark Knight returns, etc.)
Action Comics has been going on since the twenties. Who can count how many writers it has had? Or retcons?
