It's fine though. All anime more popular than average on /a/ go through stages.
First is unreasonable overrating and non-stop spamming. This is the shortest stage, and quickly leads to stage two.
While some may reject a popular anime because they don't like it, and others will troll or try to prove how unique and special they are by going against the crowd, stage two properly starts when it's impossible to have a thread about it without at least half of the posts being trolls or saged.
Stage three, acceptance, occurs long after the anime stops airing, when those who like it still start threads, but much less frequently due to lack of new material. At this stage, most people who didn't like it have gotten so used to it that they'll just ignore it. There's still a few trolls, but that's true for all series.
