An interesting view you have. But I believe I can honestly say that I will always be young at heart.
I've found that the older I get, the younger I get. When I was a kid I was really serious all the time. Quiet, easy-going, not very active, preffering to sleep all day, listen to rug-cutter swing music, and being incessangly annoyed at the youthful immaturity of my peers. People used to call me an old man. Yeah, I was wierd.
But the older I get, I find myself regressing into those childhood years, able to find pleasure in the simplest of things and find humor and awe in stuff that's just downright stupid without a whisper of sophistication in it.
I don't think I'll ever get bored of these japanese cartoons because of this. I can honestly see myself, rocking away at 80 years old, laughing like a geezer at Seto no Hanoyome and throwing my back out from FUCK YEAH-ing so much at Gurren Lagann.
In the end, I'll always be an old soul who's young at heart.
