Yeah, they'll be marching on Washington by Christmas.
Despite the hype, four thousand soldiers isn't a lot, and considering that's fighting an insurgency during an occupation, four thousand is almost ridiculously low.
That comes at a price though, particularly the lack of real progress in Iraq. The Iraqis themselves bear some of the responsibility for failing to make any reasonable compromises within the various factions of their government, but the US should have recognized that such difficulties would arise in the post Saddam power vacuum.
In any event, I don't think the Iraqis will be celebrating their victory over the US anytime soon.
