Attention! For the following week I will be testing an /a/bot. It's a simple script that attempts to automate all the bother of browsing /a/ and posting on it in the following way:
1) It starts new threads by posting a random picture from my /a/ folder, accompanied by a random copypasta from Lurkmore, Wikichan or its own internal list (see below).
2) It responds to random threads by looking for key words in the last post of the thread and replying either with the appropriate meme (from Lurkmore, Wikichan or the internal list) or with a picture from the appropriate subfolder of my /a/ folder (Haruhi, Touhou, Death Note etc.).
3) It also downloads pictures and adds them to my /a/ folder and its subfolders based on these keywords. I suspect this will result in some muddy dicks slipping in, but whatever.
4) If any individual post gets linked to often enough and is long enough, the /a/bot adds the text from that post to its internal list of new copy pastas. Similarly, any sentences repeated often enough are added to a list of new memes.
My theory is that despite its simplicity, none of you will be able to notice the difference between the /a/bot and the human posters, and my script will therefore pass the Turing test and be declared a sentient AI. Have fun!"
