yeah, since there's basically a cutscene with even the slightest change of scenery in the game. >>10942763
Sword of the Berserk? Meh, it was okay. Gotta give it credit for the fact that Capcom got the idea for the Devil May Cry games after seeing how SotB played. Plus the game's story was written by Miura too, so at least we knew he had a hand in it.
The PS2 game improved some things but fucked up on others that were good in SotB. For one, you are forced to use the Dragonslayer only now, and can't switch to your fists. The ability to jump is gone, but you can dash now. The PS2 game is also retardedly easy on anything but the highest difficulty, since Puck's Heal spell cooldown is so low and can heal 80% of your max HP at lvl 3. Once you fully upgrade your swing speed, basically bosses and big enemies are the only things that can get near you before being cleaved in half. Your rage mode is broken beyond all measure, and can take off half of a boss's life easily is timed right. On the other hand, the Berserker armor has you jumping around all over the fucking place when swinging your sword, and makes it nigh-impossible to get a real combo going. The unlockable post-game fights, while challenging, are not really worth it, since the only weapons you really want to switch out for are Guts's BotH sword, Zodd's Blade, and the electric guitar.
tl,dr: fun, but flawed.
