So I've noticed that Anon considers the FMA anime to be a failure, frankly I don't understand how anyone can say that. Sure the ending wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, Ed's dogmatic zeal for his philosophy of equivalent exchange was specially confusing given the evidence to the contrary.

That said, the lead up to the end was quite epic. Al turning into the philosopher's stone made me shit bricks, as did the deaths of the Homunculus. I though anime Lust was superior to the manga version, I actually cried when she died.

So to sum up this post, yes the end was poorly executed but the 2nd half of the anime wasn't complete shit, it actually had some fun moments.
