the novelty of a mystery manga is that it sets up a scenario with a difficult, almost deus ex resolution, and challenges the reader to find the clues and piece together the case. I saw no such thing when I started reading. It was just Neuro walking into a restaurant and when some guy gets murdered and the police pick an obvious suspect, he picks someone else out and tells them why without the reader ever getting a chance to see these clues before he hands them out.
It'd be like reading Harry Potter with the preface stating "so you all know, Harry will defeat Voldemort and Dumbledore will die at Snape's hands. also, generic boring ending. enjoy Luna"
