Re: Which do you prefer for your scanlated manga, /a/? No.10766414 Report
Define quality? And depend on what kind of manga.
Generally I choose speed slightly over quality IF quality isnt too bad. That is, if it's not butt-ugly.
Saving manga on the HD is another matter, mind you. high quality of translation and scanlation all the way.
But it really depend on which manga though. FOr that you should ask your fans/leechers. Some manga we like speedy, some just quality
Take Gantz for example. Some groups done an awful job of it just for the sake of release (real bad raws, ugly typesetting and simply no leveling at all). I download it and read just for the translation then delete that file instantly. Now I can wait for the quality scans.
Take Negima for another example. I generally wait for AQS release mainly because of its quality. Its number of textboxes and lines can hurt your eyes if it done badly. Mind you of all the releases by all the groups the number of badly done chapters can be counted on one hand.
Bad example? okay, take Sekirei.
The releases I saved on HD is amaru's (kmts). though it quite easy on translation so I read other group's first.
