I know that. Doesn't make me want it any less.>>10758256
Not quite. LotR is high fantasy, but I have further specifications that will ensure my request is never fulfilled in any shape or form, barring the vidya or actual pen and paper games. Books and watchable media are instantly out with this next list.
"Level", "damage", "chance to hit" and other variables should be accurate and true to an existing carefully balanced ruleset.
No absurd powerups or extraordinary behaviour brought on by willpower unless it's included in the class description.
Either Vancian magic or the use of a recordable mana system - when you're out of mana, you're out of mana.
Death is death, unless resurrection is a spell in the setting. IF resurrection is available, there should be none of that heroic death bullshit, just drag the guy away after you win and res him. Of course, if there's a TPK, too bad.
Every item should be accounted for and have an effect. There's FAR TOO MUCH "generic" gear that never changes, or takes damage, or does anything really apart from be there.
Essentially, I want a fully functional, complex PC-RPG that I can just sit back and watch, with anime graphics.
