"T-Tohno-kun?" Satsuki's eyes look up at me questioningly from above my arm wrapped snugly around her neck. The blood continues to drip from the knife as it glides gently across her delicate thigh.
I bring the knife to my face and savor the gentle aroma as it rises to my nostrils.
"Mmmm... monster blood always gets me in the mood. Is it the same for you with human blood, I wonder?"
"Tohno-kun, what are yo-"
"Shhh..." I insist, sliding the blade across her fragile little neck. "Call me Nanaya-sama."
"Nanaya? Wh-EEP!" At that moment I quickly force the tip into her. Blood wells up against my arm, still securing my hold on her, as it runs down her neck where I have stabbed her rather deliberately. There is no dot on her neck, I see them all too clearly without my glasses. I don't want her to die, not yet.
Her face reads a scattered picture of pain and confusion as she writhes and squirms beneath my grasp as a squid caught inextricably in the fisherman's net.
"Why? Why?" she mouths repeatedly, while her wind rushes uselessly over the knife infiltrating her throat.
I can't help but smile at the sight, while I slowly slide the knife out and release the elastic on her skirt.
