And why? Why should I? If I give that five to the bum on the street, will he go and buy himself something to eat? No! He will just go buy some more alcohol and eat at the soup kitchen. If I save a police officer from being hit by a car, I would regardless get a ticket for the most meaningless of hassles! If I fight for my beliefs, I will be ostracized by people with opposing views! No, no the powerless are powerless because they choose to be. Instead of changing things, they sit back and embrace the cold reality that has entrapped them. Why should I help them? They, who have given up all hope and driven themselves to despair? What are they to learn from my charity? 'Beg and things will turn out'? No! I won't have it! People do not need others to fight for them or to do them good deeds, what man needs is a hero! A shining example of someone who threw off the shackles of such trivialities as their fore runner! Or better yet, a villain! Yes, the world needs villains much more than heroes! Someone to despise, someone to oppose, someone to target their hatred towards. If the villain wins, the fault lies with those who did not stand up, not the villain and his intentions! So go! Call us evil! We are performing society a duty! Improve our image! Fear us! Despise us! Hate us! Wish onto us deeds beyond your normal desires! Perhaps one day you will finally come and join us at our thrones, awaiting the arrival of those who would throw us down. Then the battle of wills shall commence! But until then go, live and die as you see fit, for that day shall ne'er avail you!
