pretty good overall, the animation is nice although it could be a bit faster in my opinion>https://sketchfab.com/models/f9b937e6b9c340eea73f341f0ac37d83
oh boy where do I begin
First off, would be great to know what was this model made for. It's way too high poly for games but doesn't look good enough for film so that makes it pretty useless. Lots of clipping and baking issues everywhere. The roughness map tiling is very noticeable, if you look at the larger flat areas the repeating patterns are very obvious.
If you look at the trigger or the sights, you can see that he's using a normal map, which is just silly at a 200k poly model. If you have that much polys on an object this small, you should just go all the way and use displacement.
From the sketchfab description:>one of my first models I have created>this is the very first thing I have ever created with substance painter
Yeah that explains a lot. But good job overall, if this really was his first try, I can't wait to see more.
Just a tip: Substance is a very game oriented texturing software, so try sticking to lowpoly + normalmap>>532063>Also sketchfab is shit
Can't believe you guys fell
